Island of Brac Tour
TOUR DESCRIPTION
Ferry departure from Split to Supetar, Brac. 1 hour commute.
Your first destination is the oldest village called Skrip, where you’ll see the ancient Roman sarcophagi, Venetian villas and centuries old farmers homes made of limestone blocks and hear all about the Brac’s history and contemporary lifestyle of the islanders.
You’ll continue by driving across the island to the popular seaside town of Bol, where you’ll walk the local streets and promenade.
Bol is famous for it’s Golden Horn beach (Zlatni rat), one of the best in Croatia.
For those seeking more activities they can spend the day at the beach, go windsurfing, jet skiing, mountain biking, quad riding, hiking and more.
There are great places for lunch at taverns and family homesteads, one of which is a fisherman’s home for catch of the day, with organically grown vegetables, home made wine and an opportunity to meet the locals.
